The Sydling & District Garden Society provides a forum for gardeners in Sydling St Nicholas and the surrounding villages, to meet and exchange ideas to promote enjoyment of gardening.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month (excepting August), usually in the Village Hall, when guest speakers are invited to pass on their professional knowledge to members. During the Spring and Summer months, visits are arranged to numerous formal and informal gardens designed on grander scales. Preferential rates for purchases at a number of local horticultural businesses are an additional membership benefit.

The Society is also an Affiliate Member of the Royal Horticultural Society, giving access to many of the associated benefits which this offers.
