Fete Week

Tuesday 8th July            Sports Evening including “welly whanging” on the Village Green

Wednesday 9th July       Treasure Hunt Evening, start outside the Village Hall

Thursday 10th July         Five a side football Evening on the Village Green

Fete Day12th JULY                       
Traditional Fete with teas, cakes, Pimms and Real ale, plant stall, white elephant, krazy kitchen, greasy pole and many other attractions and games.

Music, Children’s games, Dancing, Barbeque, Bar with real ale. Grand Raffle supported by: The Greyhound Inn, Sydling. Colin Clark Butcher, Grimstone. Woods, Dorchester. Abbotsbury Gardens. and many other prizes

Sydling Fun Run

SUNDAY, 28th SEPTEMBER

Our fourth annual Sydling Fun Run will be held in the morning on Sunday, 28th September so please enter this important date into your diaries and PIMs.  More information will be available later in the year (visit http://www.sydlingstnicholas.org.uk for latest updates) but essentially the format will be much the same as before, i.e:

• A 5k (approx) run for those 13 years of age and above with two age groups - 13-16 years and 17+. 
• A 2k (approx) run for those 9 years and under and those in the 10-12 years age range.  This shorter run takes place mainly within the village environs but parents or responsible adults may accompany the younger children if they so wish.
• A Walk for those wanting to participate, e.g. family groups, older people etc.  Children under 10 must be with a responsible adult. 

We hope to make this Anton Walden Memorial Event yet another great social occasion and in doing so raise some much-needed money for the Church.
