SHARP

Sydling Help and Relief Project (sharp)

BACKGROUND

Sydling Help and Relief Project (SHARP) was inaugurated in 1991.  At that time it was thought that being so fortunate to live in a village such as Sydling St Nicholas, it would be good to raise funds to help less fortunate Third World Communities who desperately need practical help.  This objective was subsequently modified to combine an overseas charity with a local charity, sharing the proceeds 50/50 and selecting different charities each year.  Since that time SHARP has supported the following charitable causes.
