Art History Course online in February: 6 Week course starts Monday 15th February OR on Friday Feb 19th 2021
‘Cubism and its Contexts’: this course is about the evolution of Cubism as a style of art, artists discussed are Braque, Picasso, Fernand Leger’s version of Cubism, Juan Gris, Marcel Duchamp captures movement in painting and Sonia Delauney’s Orphism associated with Cubism, plus Vorticism the English version of cubism.
The course runs on Zoom, the online portal. Tutor is Pam Simpson (lives locally in the Frome Valley) MA, Art and Design Historian, Bath Spa University and London College of Fashion.
