Sydling’s Greyhound Inn has been nominated for a national lockdown business transformation award and has reached the final 6 shortlist!

Lockdown meant that the pub had to close, but Ed and Eniko at the Greyhound gave us a lifeline immediately the restrictions were announced
by building a pop-up shop which supplied practically everything villagers needed to cope with Sydling’s isolation.
In addition to the shop they also offered a popular weekly take-away menu.
The winner will be announced in a virtual award ceremony on September 22nd 2020.
